The Community and Economic Development Department's mission is to work in partnership with local, state, and federal agencies to develop greater economic opportunities and improve the quality of life for all Imperial County residents. The Department also assists with the improvement of neighborhoods and supports economic growth by securing the financing for housing project programs, water and wastewater treatment plants, roads improvements, public services, and other projects.
